We are bringing our bands to Texas

01

Great Family Artists is opening Texas as a new market, from Dallas to Houston to Austin, and we are bringing the same bands, production, and crew that have packed dance floors in Colorado and New York since 2016.

This is a launch, and we want to be honest about that. We do not yet have a Texas performance history to point to, and we will not invent one. What we do have is a proven company. Since 2016 we have delivered hundreds of weddings and events, more than 480 in Colorado and over 170 in the New York tri-state area, with a deep history of five-star WeddingWire reviews. We are touring-capable by design: we travel for destination weddings, handle our own advancing and logistics, and bring our own engineered sound and lighting so the night reads the same in a Dallas ballroom or an Austin Hill Country venue as it does at home. See the travel-and-production playbook we use for destination events. Booking us early in this market means you get the full attention of an established band that is excited to be here. You are hiring people who have done this hundreds of times, now coming to you.

Live wedding bands

Best fit

From an intimate trio for the ceremony and cocktail hour to a full show band that fills a ballroom, scaled to your guest count and room. The same lineups and vocalists that earned our reviews in Colorado and New York.

02

DJs and hybrid sets

Best fit

A dedicated DJ for late-night dancing, or a band-plus-DJ hybrid so the music never stops between sets. One team, one point of contact, one seamless night.

03

Corporate events and galas

Best fit

Brand-safe, professional entertainment for galas, fundraisers, conferences, and brand activations across Texas, with insurance, invoicing, and the paperwork procurement needs.

04

Full production

Best fit

Our own engineered sound system, stage lighting, and backline travel with the band, so the night reads, sounds, and photographs the way it should regardless of the venue's house gear.

We advance the venue, handle our own travel and load-in, and coordinate with your planner so a date anywhere in Texas runs as cleanly as a hometown one.

Why book an established band that travels

04

A new local band is an unknown. A proven touring band coming to Texas is a known quantity with a track record you can read before you sign.

When a band is brand new to a market, you are taking a chance on whether the demo matches the night. We remove that gamble. The bandleader, the vocalists, the rhythm section, and the crew who earned our five-star reviews are the same people who travel to your Texas date. We have run this exact playbook hundreds of times in other cities: read the room, build the energy, change the song before the floor thins, and handle every moment a recorded playlist cannot. Booking early in a new market also means flexibility on dates that fill fast everywhere else. You get a luxury band at the start of its Texas chapter, fully focused on getting it right. If you want to see the proof engine behind the launch, compare our Colorado wedding band history and NYC wedding band work.

Texas wedding band questions

05
Do you really perform weddings in Texas?

Yes. Great Family Artists is now booking Texas dates in Dallas, Houston, Austin, and across the state, and we are bringing the same bands, production, and crew we run in Colorado and New York. We are a touring-capable company built for travel, and Texas is the next market we are opening. You are booking an established luxury band coming to you, not a local startup.

If you are new to Texas, how do I know you are reliable?

Texas is a new market for us, but the company is not new. Since 2016 we have delivered hundreds of weddings and events in Colorado and the New York tri-state area, with a deep history of five-star WeddingWire reviews. The lineup, the production rig, and the operations team that earned those reviews are exactly what travels to your Texas date. We are bringing a proven band to a new state, not learning on your wedding.

Which Texas cities do you cover?

We are booking weddings and events across Texas, with a focus on the three biggest markets: Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and Austin. We also travel for events in San Antonio and Hill Country destination venues. Because destination logistics are core to how we operate, we can reach venues statewide and handle our own travel, advancing, and production.

How much does a live wedding band cost in Texas?

Premium live wedding bands generally fall in a market range of about $8,000 to $35,000, driven by band size, performance hours, your date, and production level. Trios and quartets start lower, around $4,000 to $9,000; full show bands reach the top. These are typical market ranges, not a Great Family Artists price list, and a destination date may include travel for the band and crew. Tell us your date and venue for a clear, itemized quote.

Should I book a band or a DJ for my Texas wedding?

Both can run a great night. A DJ is the right call when budget is the deciding factor or the venue restricts stage size. A live band is the upgrade when you want the music to be the experience guests remember: the bandleader reads the floor and changes the song in real time, and a vocalist can learn your first-dance song. If you want the night people talk about on the ride home, book the band.
